In Poland we have our traditional Christmas food like, borscht with dumplings, carp, dumplings and others, in UK they also have traditional Christmas food, but the food in Uk is different than our Polish food. What
deliciousness do I have on my mind? I’m gonna show you right away 😀

1.Of course, during the holidays in the UK, the tables won’t be complete without Roasted turkey. British people sometimes put goose, beef or a duck instead of turkey. We cant forget about our vegetarian people that instead of meat put Nut roast on their tables which is a dish that is made of brazilian and cashew nuts.

2.The next thing on British tables at Christmas is Plum Pudding, at this point the first thing that came to our mind is that it is just some kind of dessert that is made of plum, but to our surprise it has nothing to do with plums, or maybe just a little bit 😀 it is a dessert served with sherry sauce, brandy butter or sweet cream

3.Scotch broth is also a frequently served dish in UK, usually as a first dish of course. It is a delicate yet nutritious dish. Traditional Scottish broth is mostly made of barley, shelled peas, meat and spices.

4.Another traditional sweetness placed on British tables at Christmas is Dundee cake, that is also called Whiskey Cake due to the fact that it is made of a light sponge cake with the addition of whiskey and a large amount of dried and candied fruit.

There are certainly more popular dishes in UK, but for now we’ll end on four. If you had the oppurtunity to be at Christmas in Great Britain and you had the honor to eat some Christmas food, make sure to share it with us in the comments 😀
